There are approximately 85 steps to climb inside the museum — no lifts available.
If you have mobility difficulties, you will need to book a private tour, which follows shorter and dedicated routes specifically designed to accommodate your needs for approx. 200-250 per person

Please set your GPS for VATICAN MUSEUMS. Kindly ensure that you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the tour.

It is not included in the visit!
My tour takes place exclusively inside the Museums and ends in the Sistine Chapel.
At the end of the tour, you will be able to see the two magnificent Tetragrammatons inside the Museum..
I will also provide you with the details to locate the other four inside the St.Peters Basilica, should you wish to visit it on your own at another time..
Entrance to the Basilica is always free from 7 am – 7 pm, but there is usually a queue of about 90-120 minutes for security checks, especially between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
⏰ Best time for entry: 7:00–8:30 AM or from 6-7 PM (10–30 mins wait)
👗 Dress Code
🙏 Respectful and modest attire is required!
- ❌ No sleeveless or backless tops (for women)
- ✅ Shorts must reach the knees (for all)
- 🎩 Men must remove hats inside the Sistine Chapel
